Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or zoom and larger text. This statement covers cotedesigns.co.uk in English, Spanish and French.
The standard
This website is designed and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How it is tested
Automated tests with axe-core and Google Lighthouse, on desktop and mobile, on the main page types: the homepage, the FAQ, the projects page, a project page, this statement and the page not found page.
Manual checks:
- Keyboard only: every link, button and form field can be reached with Tab, has a visible focus outline and works with Enter or Space; the mobile menu closes with Escape.
- VoiceOver with Safari on a Mac.
- Zoomed to 200% and 400% in the browser, with no content lost or overlapping.
Known issues
There are no known accessibility issues at the moment.
The chat assistant in the corner of the page is our own tool and is built to the same standard. Its answers are written by AI and can be wrong; the contact form and email address are always there as an alternative.
